A Little Bit About Us
Jason Cook and his husband had always wanted to care for children from the foster care system. They made this dream come true back in 1999. As approved foster parents with The Los Angeles Department of Children & Families, Jason and Michael fostered a sibling group of five boys. They knew this would be a journey but wanted to keep the brothers together. Several years later they fostered two baby girls.
Ultimately, Jason and Michael were asked to adopt these two sibling groups and provide permanency. They quickly agreed.
Several years later, because of this passion for children and youth in foster care, Jason began a new career working for a national non profit. The goal of this organization was to recruit, retain and support families along their journey to become foster parents.
For over 14 years, Jason has given support, resources and guidance to individuals and families who also wanted to begin their own journey to care for children and youth. With this support, Jason has helped create a nationwide network of foster and adoptive families.
